THE HOLY ROSARY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit. Amen.

THE APOSTLES CREED

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day, he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father
almighty;

from there he will come to judge the living and the
dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we

ourselves to your divine will.

Blessed Virgin, our Mother, today as the Church
fervently praises the Most Holy Trinity, obtain for us

and love. Amen.

STATIONS
   OF THE CROSS

O Jesus, we come to join you on the way to Calvary.
Through the intercession of your Sorrowful Mother,
help us to understand the immense love with which
you accepted death on the Cross. You have restored
your Father's glory and redeemed the human family.
May the meditation on your passion and death help
us to become more like you in accordance to your
will. Amen.

(To be said at the beginning of each Station)
V. We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.

R. Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed
the world.

I. JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH

"Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his
only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may
not be lost but may have eternal life." (Jn 3:16).
O Jesus, You received the unjust sentence with peace
and serenity because you knew that by dying on the
Cross, you would obtain the glory of the Father and
our salvation. Grant that we might be as generous as
you were, accepting with love all the trials of our
lives for the salvation of all people.
Mary, our Mother, bless us. As we remember your
Son's passion, may we join him with a fervent desire
of imitating him.

(To be said at the end of each Station)
V. O sweet Mother, source of love.

R. Touch my spirit from above, make my heart with
yours accord.

II. JESUS CARRIES HIS CROSS

"If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him
renounce himself and take up his Cross every day
and follow me." (Lk 9:23).
Jesus receives the Cross with joy and love. He thinks
of his Father and embraces the Cross to fulfill his
divine will.
Jesus, forgive our lack of faith and love as we receive
the cross that you have given us. May we rejoice in
presenting our struggles and difficulties to you.
Mary, pray for us that we may always carry the cross
with the same spirit and love as your Son.

III. JESUS FALLS THE FIRST TIME

"We had all gone astray like sheep, each taking his
own way, and Yahweh burdened him with the sins of
all of us." (Is 53:6).
Weakened and exhausted by loss of blood in the
scourging and unable to continue because of the
weight of the Cross, Jesus falls.
Let us be aware that the weight of the cross
represents our sins which caused Jesus' fall. Lord, we
promise to avoid in our lives, not only sin, but any
willful fault.
Mary, help us through your intercession to fulfill this
promise we have made.

IV. JESUS MEETS HIS MOTHER

"All you who pass this way, look and see: is any
sorrow like the sorrow that afflicts Me?" (Lam 1:12).
Jesus encountered his Mother while carrying the
cross. What kind of sentiments did Jesus experience?
Jesus, because of the immense suffering you
experienced in the encounter with your Mother,
grant us the grace that we may console her every
day of our lives, joining her solitude, remembering
our sufferings.
Mary, obtain for us the grace of consoling your Son
with pure love, especially in the mystery of his
passion and death.

V. SIMON OF CYRENE HELPS JESUS
    CARRY HIS CROSS

"I tell you solemnly, in so far as you did this to one of
the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me."
(Mt 25:40).
We adore you Jesus as you allowed the Cyrene to
help you with the cross.
Jesus, our Savior, we do not want to carry the cross
by force as Simon did; we want to accept the crosses
you have prepared for us until the last moment of
our life. We promise to work with all our strength,
helping you in the great task of saving the world.
Mary, obtain for us the grace to accept lovingly the
cross.

VI. VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF
    JESUS

"To have seen me is to have seen the Father."
(Jn 14:9).
Lord in your sorrowful journey you desired to receive
Veronica's consolation; her loving and
compassionate heart inspired her to wipe the sweat
and blood which covered your face. As a reward of
her faithfulness, you left your divine image
impressed upon the cloth that wiped your face.
Engrave, O Jesus, your image in our souls so that we
may never forget the painful steps of your sorrowful
passion.
Mary, place in our souls the image of your Son.

VII. JESUS FALLS THE SECOND TIME

"Come to me, all you who labor and are
overburdened, and I will give you rest." (Mt 11:28).
Loving Jesus, as you carry the heavy cross, we
ponder your second fall.
Jesus, we lament the countless falls in our lives. You
offered for us the humiliations and pains you
suffered on the way to Calvary. Do not allow us to
sin, and help us, by your passion and death, to avoid
infidelity and inconstancy in our lives.
Mary, intercede for us so that we may obtain fidelity
and perseverance.

VIII. JESUS MEETS THE
    WOMEN OF JERUSALEM

"Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me,
rather, weep for yourselves and for your children."
(Lk 23:28).
Jesus, we are deeply touched by your goodness
towards the women who accompanied you. You
uttered from your heart pious advice and words of
consolation.
O Lord, may we know how to deny ourselves,
console and give strength to those who suffer.
Mary, be our comfort in time of sorrow.

IX. JESUS FALLS A THIRD TIME

"Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and
the one who humbles himself will be exalted."
(Lk 14:11).
Jesus, we adore you as you lay on the ground
beneath the weight of the cross. The road to Calvary
is coming to an end and we foresee the place of your
torment. Your love provides new strength to stand
once again. Your heart burns in desire to suffer and
die for the salvation of the world which will give you
eternal glory.
Mary, may we walk faithfully in our vocation of love
and sacrifice.

X. JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS
    GARMENTS

"None of you can be my disciple unless you give up
all your possessions." (Lk 14:33).
O Jesus, you desire that this sorrow expiate our lack
of modesty. We weep for our sins and promise to
passionately love the virtue of purity for your
consolation.
Mary, Queen of purity, grant that we may cultivate
those virtues that blossomed in your heart.

XI. JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS

"I have come from Heaven not to do my own will,
but to do the will of the One who sent me."
(Jn 6:38).
O Jesus, we are deeply moved by the inexpressible
torments that you suffered when your body was
nailed to the cross.
O Jesus, it is not enough to strip ourselves, but unite
ourselves closer to you, nailing ourselves with you on
the Cross. Through your imitation and for the love of
our Heavenly Father, we generously receive the
crosses you send us as a sign of your love.
Mary, sorrowful Mother, we walk with you in your
immense pain.

XII. JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS

"He emptied himself, coming in human likeness; and
he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death,
even death on the Cross." (Phil 2:7-8).
O Jesus, we contemplate you with supplication as
you are nailed on the cross and suspended between
heaven and earth. Before dying, you asked the
Father's pardon for all humanity: "Father, forgive
them." Then gazing upon Mary you entrusted us to
her, as her sons and daughters: "Behold your Son."
We humble ourselves before this manifestation of
your infinite love. you, the Innocent One, taking the
place for us the guilty ones, grant that we may love
you in life and in death and unite our agony with
yours.

XIII. JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE
    CROSS AND PLACED IN MARY'S ARMS

"Was it not ordained that the Christ should suffer
and so enter into his glory?" (Lk 24:26).
The most delicate and sensitive heart would be
incapable of comprehending the affliction which the
Mother of Jesus felt, when she received her
scourged and dead Son in her arms.
Sorrowful Mother, Jesus is in your arms, now dead.
you kiss his wounds and contemplate with
inexpressible pain, his pierced hands and open side:
amidst your pain, you offer the Divine Victim to the
Father, for the sins of all humanity.
We pray, O Mother, that you offer your Son for us.
May we always accompany you in your solitude, and
we ask you to plead before Our Heavenly Father, to
grant us the grace to be carved into the image of
Christ.

XIV. JESUS IS PLACED IN THE TOMB

"Unless a grain of wheat falls on the ground and
dies, it remains only a single grain, but if it dies, it
yields a rich harvest." (Jn 12:24).
May we adore the Holy Body of Christ in the tomb
and share the incomparable pain that Mary suffered
in her maternal heart when Jesus was placed in the
tomb.
Mary, loving Mother, prepare our hearts so that
when we receive the Body and Blood of Christ we
might have light, strength, and life. May we always
accompany you in the years of your solitude after
the ascension of your Son.

CLOSING PRAYER

Eternal and loving Father, we have concluded our
journey with Jesus on the Way to Calvary. Grant that
through the intercession of the Queen of Martyrs,
we may always remember Jesus' Passion, Death and
Resurrection. We want to be true disciples of Jesus
Crucified under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Encouraged to be united eternally with Jesus and
Mary, we pray that you, Father, may increase in us a
greater desire to meditate without end, the
sufferings they lived here on earth. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be are prayed for
the Pope's intentions.

PENTECOST
   SEQUENCE

Come, Holy Spirit, come.
And from your celestial home
Shed a ray of light divine.

Come, Father of the poor.
Come, source of all our store.
Come, within our bosoms shine.

You, of comforters the best;
You, the soul's most welcome guest;
Sweet refreshment here below;

In our labor, rest most sweet;
Grateful coolness in the heat;
Solace in the midst of woe.

O most blessed Light divine,
Shine within these hearts of yours,
And our inmost being fill.

Where you are not, we have naught,
Nothing good in deed or thought,
Nothing free from taint of ill.

Heal our wounds, our strength renew;
On our dryness pour your dew;
Wash the stains of guilt away:

Bend the stubborn heart and will;
Melt the frozen, warm the chill;
Guide the steps that go astray.

On the faithful, who adore
And confess you, evermore
In your sevenfold gift descend;

Give them virtue's sure reward;
Give them your salvation, Lord;
Give them joys that never end.

Amen. Alleluia.

In te confidentibus

Da perenne gaudium.

V. That all priests, filled with your presence.

R. Live joyfully in celibacy, Lord.

V. For all priests.

R. Grant them the fullness of your Spirit, Lord, and
transform them into you, Lord.

Especially, I pray for those priests through whom I
have received your graces: I pray for the priest who
baptized me and for those who have absolved me of
my sins, reconciling me with you and with your
Church. I pray for those priests in whose Masses I
have participated and who have given me your Body
as nourishment. I pray for those priests who have
shared your Word with me, and for those who have
helped me and led me to you. Amen.

Brief Form: We pray for all priests: Transform them
into you, Lord. May the Holy Spirit possess them, and
through them renew the face of the earth. Amen.

Let us pray. Divine Heart of Jesus, Heart full of zeal for
the glory of your Father, we pray for all your priests.
By your Holy Spirit, fill them with faith, zeal, and love.
Amen.

PRAYER TO OFFER
   HOLY COMMUNION
   FOR PRIESTS

Heavenly Father, for the glory of your Holy Name, we
offer you Jesus, the Incarnate Word, whom we have
just received in the Sacrament of his love, and in
whom you are well pleased. Through Mary
Immaculate, we offer ourselves united with Christ,
for the sanctification and increase of your priests.
Pour your Divine Spirit upon them, grant them a
great love for the cross and make fruitful their
pastoral work. Amen.

In accord with the sacramental and theological understanding of
Holy Communion as an integral part of the Eucharistic Sacrifice,
the traditional form of "Offering Holy Communion for Priests"
should be understood and practiced as an offering of the entire
Mass.

OATH OF RELIGIOUS
   PROFESSION

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, moved by a firm desire to respond
to your call and wanting to glorify you on earth, I
consecrate myself completely to follow Jesus Christ,
Priest and Victim, and to work for the propagation of
the Kingdom of the Holy Spirit throughout the world.

For the profession of first Vows: Therefore, I, N.,
in the presence of the Church, and in the
presence of my brothers and sisters, make to you
Almighty God, for one year, the vows of poverty,
chastity, and obedience, in the Congregation of
the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit, according to
its Constitution.

For the renewal of temporary vows: Therefore, I,
N., in the presence of the Church, and in the
presence of my brothers and sisters, renew to
you Almighty God, for one year, the vows of
poverty, chastity, and obedience, in the
Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy
Spirit, according to its Constitution.

For final vows: Therefore, I, N., in the presence of
the Church, and in the presence of my brothers
and sisters, make to you Almighty God, forever,
the vows of poverty, chastiy, and obedience, in
the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy
Spirit, according to its Constitution.

Devotional renewals of vows (Christmas,
Pentecost, etc.):
Therefore, I, in the presence of
the Church, and in the presence of my brothers
and sisters, renew the vows of poverty, chastiy,
and obedience to you Almighty God, in the
Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy
Spirit, according to its Constitution.

Father Most Holy, instill within me your Spirit of
sanctity, that he might lead me to the perfection of
charity, to be a living victim in Christ, for your glory
and service of the Church.

Mary, Mother of Christ, the Eternal High Priest,
through the sorrows you suffered, especially during
the years of your solitude, obtain for me the graces I
need to be faithful to the sacred commitment I have
just made. Amen.

PRAYER FOR
   MY COMMUNITY

Father, I pray for my brothers in the community. You
know them personally. You know their names, their
virtues, and limitations, their strengths, and
weaknesses. You know every aspect of their
journeys. You accept them as they are and vivify
them with your Spirit.

Lord, you love them not because of their virtues and
goodness, but because they are your sons.
Teach me to truly love them through the example of
Jesus Priest and Victim, not in virtue of their words
or works, but in virtue of themselves, discovering in
each one, the mystery of your infinite love, especially
in those who are weak.

Thank you, Father, for giving me these brothers. Each
one of them is a gift to me, a true "sacrament," and
an effective sign of the presence of your Son.
Grant me the grace to contemplate Jesus in them,
and give me a heart to love them to the extreme. I
want to be a true "sacrament" to them, full of the
loving presence of Jesus. Amen

PRAYER FOR
   SPREADING OF THE
   WORKS OF THE
   CROSS

Heavenly Father, through the intercession of Our
Lady of Guadalupe, we ask you to pour your Spirit on
the Works of the Cross. May the message of
holiness, which your Son gave to the Church through
Concepcion Cabrera, be communicated through the
Works of the Cross. May this be for your glory, the
consolation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the
growth of the Kingdom of the Holy Spirit. We ask this
through Christ, our Lord.

Jesus, Savior of all people, save them!

TE DEUM

You are God: we praise you;
You are the Lord: we acclaim you;
You are the Eternal Father: all creation worships you.

To you, all angels, all the powers of heaven,
Cherubim and Seraphim, sing in endless praise:
Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might,
heaven and earth are full of your glory.

The glorious company of Apostles praise you.
The noble fellowship of prophets praise you.
The white-robed army of martyrs praise you.

Throughout the world, the holy Church acclaims you:
Father, of majesty unbounded,
your true and only Son, worthy of all worship,
and the Holy Spirit, advocate and guide.

You, Christ, are the King of Glory,
the eternal Son of the Father.

When you became man to set us free
you did not spurn the Virgin's womb.

You overcame the sting of death,
and opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers.

You are seated at God's right hand in glory.
We believe that you will come, and be our Judge.

Come then, Lord, and help your people,
bought at the price of your own blood,
and bring us with your saints
to glory everlasting.

V. Save your people Lord and bless your inheritance.

R. Govern and uphold them now and always.

V. Day by day we bless you.

R. We praise your name forever.

V. Keep us today, Lord, from all sin.

R. Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy.

V. Lord, show us your love and mercy.

R. For we put our trust in you.

V. In you, Lord, is our hope.

R. And we shall never hope in vain.

HYMN OF THE
   CONGREGATION

Blessed OASIS, though you may struggle,
bravely go forward, never dismay;
ever go boldly bearing your cross,
follow the pathway Jesus had walked.

Amid the battles which you must fight,
Step bravely forward don't hesitate;
Fix your gaze ever on gentle Jesus,
Who on the Cross lovingly died for you.

Show yourself firm amidst the raging battle,
They who have God never will faint;
Take as your aim, protection, and guide,
Mary Immaculate, our Virgin Mary.

Welcome all suffering; it is your treasure,
Sacrifice, also, make it your stronghold;
Blessed be the Cross! Be it your glory,
Ever your longing: humility.

If the war should run and press against you,
Look to your Star, call upon Mary;
With Jesus standing close by your side,
Live ever fastened to his Tree.

May purity and suffering mold you,
Your happiness be sharing his pain;
With your whole being seek to be humble,
Learning then, to deny even yourself.
